What is Clinical Hypno-Therapy?

Hypno- Therapy can be used to help with many physical, emotional and psychological issues, after all you mind perceives and controls everything connected to you.

Its a very natural, safe and effective way of people to change.

The technical term for hypno-therapy is and extreme focus on the unconscious mind..

Which really doesn’t help a lay person understand it much more does it?

If youd like to know more about the unconscious mind have a look at my http://www.peakchanges.co.uk/what-is-your-unconscious-mind/ page

Our mind is made up basically of conscious things i.e. things we are aware of and unconscious things i.e. things we are unaware of but never the less effect how we feel and behave.

Hypnosis – What is it?

Hypnosis is a natural state we all enter into many times a day every day.

For example:

  • Day dreaming… is light hypnosis and problem solving.
  • Ever wandered into a room and cant remember why your there… light hypnosis.
  • Reading a book and imagining the events within it… light creative hypnosis.
  • Watch TV and get drawn in … that’s light hypnosis
  • Ever driven your car to work or home and don’t remember how you did it or the route you took… well done you did that unconsciously or in a state hypnosis.

It’s when your mind calms down and does things with little effort. Its becomes both receptive and creative which is perfect for learning new ways for you.

So what’s Hypno –Therapy?

In a clinical setting, or a comfy chair and a warm, calm, quiet room as I like to call it, a clinically qualified hypnotherapist will guide you to a place where your unconscious mind is more receptive and creative. This can be done differently and may involve acute focus or sheer relaxation to help your unconscious mind learn more easily.

As you know already there are different levels of mental relaxation, from being fully alert, to calm, to comfortable and relaxed, to day dreaming, to a light doze to a deep sleep. Any where between nice and calm and almost a deep sleep is the area that your unconscious mind becomes even more receptive.

Your mind is so much more receptive and creative when it’s calm.

Just think how many times you’ve popped out of a day dream with a great idea or remembered something important !

So when you’ve allowed yourself to be guided into that relaxed state of mind the hypnotherapist will work with you on an unconscious level. They will talk to you in a way, about things can work better for work for you.

There’s lots of different ways of helping someone unconsciously.

The important thing is when the conscious mind is occupied or by passed and then unconscious mind is activated and stimulated, amazing results can be had quickly deep from within you.

That’s Hypno – Therapy
